Asphalt Repair District Wide

Background

The Jordan School District (JSD) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Asphalt Repair District Wide. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary asphalt repair services across the district, ensuring safe and accessible facilities for students and staff. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with the potential for awards to be split by region depending on what is deemed in the best interest of the district.

Work Details

The contractor will provide asphalt repair services including: 1. Bids per square foot based on hole sizes: - 100 sq. ft. or less - 101 sq. ft. to 1,000 sq. ft. - 1,001 sq. ft. to 5,000 sq. ft. - 5,001 sq. ft. to 25,000 sq. ft.; 2. Unit prices for filling cracks per linear foot; 3. Unit price for excavation; 4. Backfill and compaction per cubic yard; 5. Removal and disposal of old asphalt and replacement with a minimum of 3 inches of new asphalt with minor re-grading and compaction; 6. Application specifications include using a material with a minimum of 6% oil, #3 bin mix for overlays at a thickness of 1-1/2 inches; 7. All work must comply with Utah State Road Commission specifications.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon bid acceptance and continue for one year, with an option for up to four annual renewals at the discretion of JSD.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed district-wide within the Jordan School District in Utah.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have a minimum of five years of experience in asphalt repair services, provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services required for project completion, and maintain liability insurance as specified in the solicitation documents.
