Background The Federal Bureau of Prisons is issuing a solicitation for the provision of fresh bread products to the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Cumberland, MD. The goal of this contract is to ensure a consistent supply of essential food items for the facility's food services, which plays a critical role in meeting the dietary needs of the inmate population. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for delivering the following items on a weekly basis: 1. **Hot Dog Buns**: 38,000 units of enriched, finger rolls, whole wheat, pan baked, sliced, fresh, seedless. Fresh bread must be delivered within 48 hours after baking. 2. **Hamburger Buns**: 64,600 units of enriched, sandwich rolls, whole wheat, pan baked, sliced, fresh, seedless. Fresh bread must be delivered within 48 hours after baking. 3. **Sliced Bread**: 12,000 loaves of whole wheat, unseasoned, fresh, any loaf size, pan baked, sliced, enriched, seedless. Fresh bread must be delivered within 48 hours after baking. Delivery Schedule: All deliveries are to occur between July 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026.
