Background This requirement is to procure mobile denial barriers to meet force protection standards as the current barrier system is under repair. The agency aims to enhance security measures through the acquisition of these barriers. Work Details The mobile denial barriers must meet the following salient characteristics: - 24V Battery Operated Hydraulic Pump with Control Station - Basic structure must be 16ft in length - Barrier must be towable by trailer hitch and include a spare tire, 4-wheel hydraulic brakes, and VIN Number - Complete instructions and a start-up/troubleshooting manual must be included - Remote operation capability with a minimum 20ft cable - At least 500ft of spare cable must be provided - An auxiliary limit switch must be included - A 12V booster pack must be included - Signal lights (can be powered externally) must be included - Multiple power options including batteries, solar panels, and traditional plug-in must be available - Both 12V and 24V Solar Charge Controllers must be included - Mobile barriers must be galvanized - Jumper cables and utility outlet connections must be included - A portable bollard that extends the barrier protection zone must be provided - A barrier turntable must be included - Must meet ASTM F 2656—07 M40 Standards - Barriers must be rapidly deployable.
