The 88th Medical Group (88 MDG) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB), Ohio, has a requirement for non-personal services to provide comprehensive preventive maintenance and on-call repair services for commercial food service equipment. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and transportation necessary to ensure the continuous operation of equipment located at the Nutritional Medicine Flight (Building 830) in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractor will be required to perform scheduled quarterly Preventive Maintenance (PM) and provide on-call remedial and emergency repair services (including a mandatory 4-hour on-site response time for emergencies). Technicians must possess current, relevant commercial equipment certifications (e.g., HVAC Level II, EPA 608 Universal) and a minimum of five (5) years of corporate experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair. Additionally, IAW FAR 52.223-23, replacement parts must be ENERGY STAR or FEMP-designated to the maximum extent practicable.

The goal of the contract is to ensure the continuous operation of kitchen equipment located at the Nutritional Medicine Flight in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and transportation. Work Details The contractor shall perform the following tasks: - Scheduled quarterly Preventive Maintenance (PM) to keep equipment in good operating condition, including inspecting excessive wear, checking gaskets and seals, cleaning condenser coils, and ensuring coolant levels are correct. PM is required for combi ovens, stoves, evaporator coil units, salad bars, ice makers, serving lines, and ware washing machines. - Remedial (Non-Emergency) Maintenance: Respond to non-emergency service calls within 24 hours. - Emergency Maintenance: Respond to emergency service calls within 4 hours. An emergency is defined as any equipment failure that creates a physical hazard or increases the risk of injury. - Provide all necessary labor and replacement parts for repairs in compliance with OEM guidelines. All parts must be new OEM parts unless specified otherwise. Replacement units must be ENERGY STAR certified or designated by FEMP where practicable. - Submit invoices through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) reflecting all work accomplished and parts used. Period of Performance The contract will consist of a 12-month Base Period from 15 June 2026 to 14 June 2027 and four (4) additional 12-month Option Periods. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, specifically at Building 830 in the Nutritional Medicine Flight dining facility.
