The Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) is seeking proposals from vendors to provide high-quality K-12 core and/or supplemental curriculum materials in Social Studies, as well as professional learning opportunities in the same field. The goal of this contract is to enhance the educational offerings available to students and educators in Rhode Island, ensuring they have access to effective teaching resources and training.
Vendors are expected to provide K-12 core and/or supplemental curriculum materials in Social Studies. This includes both physical and digital resources that align with state educational standards. Additionally, vendors should offer professional learning services for educators, which may include workshops, training sessions, and ongoing support to effectively implement the curriculum materials. The solicitation emphasizes the need for high-quality content that engages students and supports teachers in delivering effective instruction.
The contract will commence on May 18, 2026, and will run until December 29, 2028. There is an option for renewal for up to one additional 12-month period based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

Vendors must also adhere to insurance requirements including liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate.
