Background The contract is issued by the Rock Island Arsenal - Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) with the purpose of providing and maintaining tool and fixture making hardware through a Vendor Managed Inventory System (VMI). The VMI aims to optimize supply chain performance by ensuring timely resupply, removal of damaged goods, and maintaining inventory levels at specified locations. Work Details The vendor will purchase all items listed in Attachment 0001 and maintain minimum/maximum supplies at RIA-JMTC using a VMI System. Items will be stored in vendor-supplied cabinets/bins/shelving as well as designated government-owned racks. The contractor is responsible for providing, installing, stocking, and maintaining these storage solutions. Key specifications include: - Stocking Location: 4th floor Bldg. 220 - The contractor must ensure that the cabinets are suitable for storing hardware and capable of heavy usage. - The system must allow electronic access control for monitoring inventory. - The contractor must provide a comprehensive support system available 24/7, including guaranteed response times for emergencies. - Weekly Stocking Reports and Bi-Weekly Consumption Reports are required to document stock levels and usage. Period of Performance The contract has a period of performance of five (5) years from the date of contract award, including a 60-day phase-in period. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Rock Island Arsenal - Joint Manufacturing Technology Center (RIA-JMTC), specifically in designated areas such as the 4th floor of Building 220.
