The Regional Contracting Office Parris Island is seeking vendors who can provide the Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC), Quantico, VA, with professional data port testing and assessment services. The intent of the Government is to identify vendors capable of supporting the requirements outlined below. All feedback and information received is for Market Research Purposes Only.

Requirement Overview

The Marine Corps Recruiting Command maintains approximately 870 data drop ports throughout the facility. MCRC has identified that a significant number of these ports may be non-operational, improperly labeled, damaged, or otherwise deficient. The Government is seeking qualified vendors capable of performing a comprehensive assessment and testing of all identified data drop ports to determine operational status, identify deficiencies, verify labeling accuracy, and provide recommendations for corrective actions. Requirements: - Provide all labor, supervision, equipment, testing devices, materials, and expertise necessary to perform comprehensive testing and assessment of approximately 870 data drop ports. - Verify operational status and connectivity of each data port. - Identify and document damaged, inactive, improperly terminated, mislabeled, or otherwise deficient ports. - Verify and document labeling accuracy for all tested ports. - Provide detailed reporting of findings, deficiencies, and recommendations for corrective actions. - Coordinate all work with Government personnel to minimize disruption to daily operations. - Contractor personnel may be required to work after normal business hours or weekends depending on facility access requirements. - Contractors should maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout performance of services. - Site visit may be required if this requirement is formally solicited.

DRAFT Statement of Work The Applicable NAICS Code for this Source Sought Notice: 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors To assist the Government in conducting market research, interested vendors are requested to provide the following information - Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address. - Type of business (e.g., large business, small business, small, disadvantaged business, woman-owned small business, HUBZone, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, etc.), CAGE Code, and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). - Capabilities Statement demonstrates the company's ability to perform data port testing and network infrastructure assessment services of similar scope and complexity. - Relevant past performance information for similar projects. - Estimated rough order of magnitude (ROM) pricing, if available.

Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the following services: - Conduct an initial site visit to coordinate testing with designated MCRC personnel; - Test approximately 870 data drop ports throughout the facility; - Verify connectivity and functionality of each port; - Confirm proper cable termination where accessible; - Identify and document deficiencies including non-functioning ports, cable faults or physical damage, improper or failed terminations, labeling discrepancies, and observable patch panel or network closet issues; - Record the operational status of each tested port and identify locations of deficient ports; - Provide a professional assessment of required corrective actions. Deliverables include an Initial Assessment Report detailing total number of ports tested, operational status, identified deficiencies, and recommended corrective actions submitted in electronic PDF format within ten business days after completion of testing. A separate Repair Proposal detailing recommended repairs with itemized labor and material costs will also be provided. Period of Performance The Period of Performance shall begin upon award and conclude upon completion of all required testing and submission of deliverables.
