$22.0 million Description This Sources Sought Notice is a means of conducting market research in accordance with FAR 5.101. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential sources who can provide Janitorial Services for the Indian Health Service (IHS), Nashville Area Office (NAO), Lockport Service Unit in Lockport, New York. The Government is seeking input to determine the availability of vendors who meet the definition of an Indian Economic Enterprise (HHSAR 326.601), and also/or sources that meet the small business size standards under the associated NAICS. The result of this market research will contribute in determining the method of procurement and acquisition strategy. This notice does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation or make an award.

Description of Services

The Contractor shall provide Janitorial Services. Refer to attached Statement of Work (SOW) for more detail and requirements.

Estimated Duration of Requirement

Base Year plus four 12-month option years.

Background The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking to conduct market research to identify potential sources for providing janitorial services at the Lockport Service Unit in Lockport, New York. The goal is to ensure a clean and sanitary environment that promotes infection control and provides a safe, comfortable setting for patients and staff. Work Details The Contractor shall provide janitorial services during the hours of 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays. Services include daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping tile floors, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, cleaning restrooms (including toilets, sinks, and mirrors), sanitizing clinical areas, cleaning glass surfaces, maintaining kitchen areas, and managing waste disposal. Additionally, quarterly deep cleaning of the entire facility is required every three months. The Contractor must provide all necessary equipment and supplies for both daily and deep cleaning tasks while adhering to standard commercial cleaning practices and IHS infection control protocols.
