Background The Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, part of the National Cemetery Administration (NCA), is dedicated to honoring Veterans and their eligible family members by providing final resting places in national shrines and lasting tributes that commemorate their service. This contract aims to fulfill the ongoing requirement for refuse and recycling collection services, ensuring that the cemetery maintains a dignified and respectful environment for those interred there. Work Details The Contractor shall provide refuse and recycling collection services as detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key tasks include: 1. **Trash and Waste Removal**: - Provide an 8-cubic yard front load dumpster for general refuse with weekly pickups (52 per year). - Provide an 8-cubic yard front load dumpster for recyclable waste with monthly pickups (12 per year). - Provide a 20-cubic yard roll-off dumpster for granite headstone and concrete debris with monthly pickups (12 per year). - Provide on-call delivery and pickup of a 20-cubic yard roll-off dumpster as needed. 2. **Container Specifications**: All containers must be leakproof, covered, labeled, and maintained in a clean condition. The Contractor must coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for container placement and delivery schedules. 3. **Maintenance Responsibilities**: The Contractor is responsible for the delivery, maintenance, and removal of all containers throughout the contract period, ensuring they are free of holes, odors, and vermin.
