BFSU Solid Waste Removal

Background

The Indian Health Service (IHS), part of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is seeking to identify Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) and Indian Economic Enterprises (IEEs) capable of fulfilling a requirement for solid waste collection services. This initiative is in accordance with the Buy Indian Act, which mandates that preference be given to Indian Economic Enterprises when feasible. The goal of this contract is to ensure that at least 51% of the earnings from the contract are received by Indians or Indian Tribes.

Work Details

The contractor will provide weekly trash removal services for the following locations: Blackfeet Service Unit, Heart Butte Clinic, and Government Quarters. The work includes ensuring timely and efficient solid waste collection to maintain cleanliness and health standards at these facilities. The contractor must demonstrate experience in providing similar services to healthcare facilities and must meet specific criteria outlined in the Buy Indian Act regarding ownership and earnings.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a duration of one year.

The services will be performed at the following locations: Blackfeet Service Unit, 760 Hospital Circle, Browning, MT 59417; Government Quarters - Blackfeet Service Unit, 760 Hospital Circle, Browning, MT 59417; Heart Butte Clinic, 17 Hospital Road, Heart Butte, MT 59448.
