PUBLIC NOTICE

ACTIVE OMNIBUS SOLE SOURCE APPROVALS/SOLE SOURCE PARTS AGREEMENT CONTRACTS NYCT & MTABC (MTA Bus Company) plans to purchase one or more groups of item(s) from the supplier/manufacturer noted within the next twelve months without competitive bidding pursuant to the single responsible source provision of Section 1209 subdivision 9(b) & 1265 4(b) of the Public Authorities Law, as amended. Lists of these items are available from NYCT (see below). The purpose of this notice is to invite any firm that believes that it can also provide any of the listed item(s) to so inform NYCT by letter. If NYCT is satisfied that a firm is responsible and can supply the item(s) on acceptable terms and conditions those items may be competitively bid. A firm's letter must be addressed to the attention of the contact noted below at MTA New York City Transit, 2 Broadway, New York, NY 10004. The letter should identify which items (by NYCT stock number) the firm can supply and include additional information which supports their claims. NYCT may require additional information from a firm before deciding whether the firm is responsible and can supply the item(s).
