Background The County of Orange, through its Department of General Services, is seeking qualified vendors to supply and deliver reflective material for traffic sign faces and sign blanks. This initiative aims to enhance public safety by ensuring that traffic signage is visible and meets regulatory standards. The materials will be delivered to designated locations within Orange County, New York. Work Details Vendors are required to provide reflective materials including: - Anodized aluminum sign blanks made from 5052-H8 alloy with specified dimensions and thicknesses. - Reflective sheeting that meets various ASTM standards for commercial grade, high intensity, and fluorescent types. - Specific products include various sizes of sign blanks (e.g., 30"x6", 36"x6", etc.), stop signs, yield signs, and other regulatory signs with specified colors and reflective properties. - All products must conform to the latest 'Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices' issued by the New York State Traffic Commission. Period of Performance The contract is anticipated to last for one year, with the possibility of two additional one-year extensions at the County's discretion. Place of Performance Deliveries will be made to the Orange County Department of Public Works located at 2455-2459 Route 17M, Goshen, NY 10924 and/or the Orange County Department of Parks, Recreation & Conservation at 211 Route 416, Montgomery, NY 12549. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be properly registered to do business in New York State and provide necessary certifications. The County encourages participation from Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). Bidders must complete a Non-Collusion Certification, Disclosure of Non-Responsibility Determination, and Iran Divestment Act Certification as part of their submission.
