Background The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) is issuing this solicitation on behalf of the 99th Readiness Division DPW to procure new Snow and Ice Removal Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean workplace free of snow and ice at the Bristol County Army Reserve Center located at 245 Honorable Gordon Owen Parkway, Taunton, MA 02780. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel, and other items necessary to perform snow and ice removal services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The services must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. Specific tasks include: 1. Snow removal for various depths (3"-6", 6"-10", 10"-14", 14"+, etc.) as specified in the contract. 2. Ice melt and sand application. 3. Clearing of sidewalks. 4. Maintenance of quality control to ensure compliance with performance standards. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract will consist of a 12-month base period followed by four additional 12-month option periods. Place of Performance The primary location for performance will be at the Bristol County Army Reserve Center, 245 Honorable Gordon Owen Parkway, Taunton, MA 02780.
