Background The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD, intends to award a purchase order to Carahsoft Technology Corp., located at 11493 Sunset Hills Road, Suite 100, Reston, VA 20190. This award is based on a sole source justification as Carahsoft is the exclusive provider authorized to supply, upgrade, and maintain VMware software under Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract N66001-24-A-0034 awarded by the Department of Defense (DoD). The goal of this contract is to fulfill the software licensing requirements for both the Industrial Manufacturing System (IMS) and Structural Mechanical Analysis (SMAL) Labs at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW). Work Details The contract involves providing VMWare Software Licensing which includes: 1. Valid licensing for installation on the customer's network-licensing server, covering all specified licensing options for the current version of the software applications. License files will be delivered via email or accessible through server-to-server licensing activation. 2. Provision of all new software releases, revisions, and patches during the licensing period for IMS and SMAL Labs. Software will be downloadable from the vendor's website. 3. Telephonic and/or email technical support for software configuration issues, bugs, or licensing problems during the performance period. 4. The part number(s) for fulfillment include: VCF-TD-TL-1P-F U.S. Federal VMware Cloud Foundation 5-1 Year Commit Per Core from VMware, CA, Inc., a Broadcom Company. Period of Performance The period of performance is one year from the date of award with three one-year options. Place of Performance The products will be delivered and performed at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), NAS North Island in San Diego, CA.
