Background The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is soliciting services for the office buildout of a preexisting structure at the Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEOC). The goal of this contract is to provide professional construction services for the fit-out of Class-A interior office space, specifically for Tenant-6 within Building 401. This project aims to enhance operational capabilities by creating functional office environments that support FEMA's mission. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the following tasks: 1. Fit-out of approximately 7,000 square feet of interior office space including circulation areas, private offices, conference rooms, and general office spaces. 2. Installation of new demising walls and partitions. 3. Modification and extension of power distribution systems, wall devices, lighting, and fire alarm systems as required for the new layout. 4. Installation of a mechanical Dry Cooler unit along with associated site work and utilities. 5. Alteration to existing access flooring and installation of new ceiling finishes with LED lighting fixtures. 6. Provision of telecommunications cabling and pathways for power distribution supporting audio-visual systems. 7. Maintenance of life safety requirements throughout construction activities. 8. Installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) including systems furniture, IT equipment racks, intercom systems, wall-mounted TV screens, and monitors. Period of Performance The contract period of performance is from March 6, 2026 to February 5, 2027.
