Work Details The contract involves the purchase of one 55-foot aerial bucket truck each year for five years. Each truck must feature: 1. Aerial bucket specifications: Minimum working height of 60 feet, horizontal reach of at least 41 feet, and a rated capacity of 400 lbs. The unit must be rear-mounted, over-center type, articulating with a one-man fiberglass bucket. 2. Compliance with OSHA, FMVSS, DOT, and ANSI A92.2 requirements including stability tests with outriggers down. 3. Truck chassis must be new, conventional cab with a minimum GVWR of 35,000 lbs., powered by a Cummins or Detroit Diesel engine rated at no less than 300 SAE gross horsepower and equipped with an Allison Model 3000 RDS 6-speed automatic transmission. 4. Hydraulic system capable of operating tools at approximately 5 gpm at 1800 psi. 5. Utility body constructed from cold rolled galvanneal steel, designed to withstand operational stresses and equipped with features such as water guards and flush-type door handles. Period of Performance The contract will commence on March 11, 2026, and conclude on March 10, 2031. This allows for an initial term of one year with four potential one-year renewals. Place of Performance The trucks will be delivered to Columbia, South Carolina.
