Background The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is issuing a solicitation for I-PREDICT Human Body Modeling Services. The goal of this contract is to obtain specialized engineering services related to human body modeling, which is crucial for the assessment of crew injury in naval operations. The contract will be awarded on a Sole Source basis to Southwest Research Institute, indicating that they are the only source capable of fulfilling the requirements outlined in the solicitation. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing a Technical Report that includes a White Paper addressing specific objectives as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The tasks include: 1) Conducting analyses and summarizing findings in a Draft White Paper within 10 months of receiving Government Furnished Information (GFI). 2) Submitting the Draft White Paper to the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) for review, who will provide comments within 2 weeks. 3) Incorporating any applicable comments into a Final White Paper and submitting it to the TPOC within 2 weeks of receiving feedback. The reports must be delivered in PDF or Microsoft Word format and handled as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), using secure transmission methods such as DOD SAFE. Place of Performance The work will be performed at locations designated by NSWCCD, specifically referencing West Bethesda, MD.
