Transportation & Disposal of Hazardous Waste

Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent for the County of Somerset on February 3, 2026 at 3:30 PM prevailing time in the Purchasing Division conference room, County Administration Building, 20 Grove Street, Somerville, NJ 08876. At this time and place, bids will be opened and read in public for the transportation and disposal of hazardous waste from Somerset County's Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days. The bid opening will be conducted via Live-Stream from the County Commissioners Meeting room, accessible from the County's homepage at the stated date and time. Bidders will be announced along with bid amounts, and the bid tabulation will be posted on the Purchasing webpage once available. Bid responses must be made on the standard proposal forms, enclosed in a sealed package bearing the name and address of the bidder, and the BID TITLE NAME & CONTRACT # on the outside, addressed to Melissa A. Kosensky, Purchasing Agent, at the address above. Any Bid Addenda will be issued on the County website, and it is the responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to this procurement. Specifications and instructions to bidders may be obtained at the Purchasing Office or the County website at www.somersetcountynj.gov. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17-27 et seq.
