Background The US Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking contractors for the drydock repairs of the USCGC DOUGLAS DENMAN (WPC 1149), which is home ported in Ketchikan, AK. The goal of this contract is to ensure the vessel's operational readiness through necessary maintenance and repairs. Work Details The scope of work includes the following tasks: 1. Topside Exterior Structure, Repair; 2. Hull Plating, Inspect; 3. Tanks and Voids, Inspect and Preserve; 4. Watertight Closures, Assess; 5. Watertight Closures, Renew; 6. Louver Assembly, Overhaul; 7. Propulsion Shafting System, Inspect and Repair; 8. ASW/Firemain System Components, Renew/Overhaul; 9. Electrical Power Distribution System, Thermographic Inspection (450 VAC); 10. Machinery Ventilation System, Clean; 11. HVAC Duct System, Clean; 12. ASW Piping, Repair; 13. Rudder Assemblies, Inspect and Repair; 14. Stabilizing Fins, Inspect and Repair; 15. Bow Thruster Propeller and Tunnel, Inspect and Repair; 16. Stern Launch Door, Inspect and Preserve; 17. Sewage and Grey Water System, Clean and Inspect; 18. Freeboard, Preserve; 19. Superstructure, Preserve; 20. Mast, Preserve; 21. Weatherdecks, Preserve; 22. U/W Body, Preserve; 23. Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) and Anti-Fouling System, Inspect and Maintain; 24. Period of Performance The anticipated period of performance is for approximately 119 calendar days starting from August 18, 2026 to December 15, 2026. Place of Performance All work will be performed at the contractor’s facility with no geographical restrictions for this cutter.
