Background The Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of State Parks, is seeking bids for lawn maintenance services at He`eia State Park located in Kaneohe, Hawaii. The goal of this contract is to ensure the park's grounds are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing for visitors. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Trim, mow, and blow grass clippings and leaves off all concrete and asphalt surfaces twice a month from February 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027. 2. Remove and dispose of any trash before mowing the lawn. 3. Remove any fallen branches or coconut fronds and dispose of them at a certified disposal site; green waste must not be discarded in trash dumpsters. 4. Workdays are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with work permitted on Mondays despite the park being closed. The contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the State of Hawaii, Division of State Parks as an additional insured. Bidder Requirements Bidders must have a permanent office location accessible for immediate communication regarding complaints or requests. They should possess adequate equipment and personnel to complete the work within the specified timeframe. Bidders must comply with Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE) registration prior to submitting an offer and maintain compliance throughout the contract term.
