The Service Contract Act WD # 2015-5577 revision # 29 date of last revision 12/03/2025 applies. Background The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking to procure a Hazardous Waste storage locker to safely and temporarily store oily waste, used chemicals, flammables, and other hazardous materials generated by the operation of USCG ships. This acquisition is part of the Department of Homeland Security's mission to ensure safety and compliance with environmental regulations. Work Details The contract involves the delivery of a Hazardous Waste Locker with the following specifications: 1. Factory Mutual Approved to meet FMRC Class 6049 (NFPA 30) 2. Complies with IBC, IFC, EPA, NEC, and OSHA codes 3. Dimensions: 24.5’ long, 10’ deep, 8.5’ height; includes 3 doors (56” wide x 82” high) with a 3-point lock; total weight approximately 19,800 lbs 4. Materials: new, unused non-commercial grade ASTM A570 and commercial grade ASTM 569 and ASTM A36 steel 5. Double-walled construction with 12 and 14 gauge welded steel and a 2-hour fire rating 6. Sump built of 10 gauge steel 7. Chemical resistant epoxy coating inside and outside with salt water primer 8. Fusible link fire dampeners 9. Internal spill containment minimum of 1054 gallons 10. Ground connection on all units 11. Spill containment drain minimum of 4 inches above ground for drainage 12. Fibergrate flooring 13. Portable by forklift with front to rear loading capability and forklift pockets 14. Seismic tie down holes (1 inch diameter) 15. All units must have grounding lugs set at 30 inches high 16.
