Background The Phase 2 RIDOT Building Capital Improvements solicitation is issued by the Department of Administration, Division of Capitol Asset Management and Maintenance of the State of Rhode Island. Repairing the retaining walls at the RIDOT Building. Vendors are required to submit a Base Bid Price that includes all work specified in the solicitation, including costs for bonds and any allowances or addenda. Additionally, unit prices for various tasks such as General Earth Excavation, Excavated Material Removal, Fine Grading and Seeding, Concrete In Place, and Compacted Stone In Place must be provided. Period of Performance The initial contract period will commence upon issuance of a contract award and will remain effective through June 30, 2027. Place of Performance The work will be performed at the RIDOT Building located in Providence, Rhode Island. Bidder Requirements Vendors must have a valid certificate of registration issued by the Rhode Island Contractors’ Registration Board throughout the term of the contract. A bid surety bond or certified check is required with proposals. Vendors must also comply with insurance requirements including liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence and workers' compensation coverage as specified.
