Background The Department of Environmental Management Division of Parks and Recreation is soliciting vendor proposals for outdoor water recreation rentals at Lincoln Woods State Park beach area. The goal of this contract is to provide recreational services that enhance the visitor experience at the park, aligning with the agency's mission to promote outdoor activities and environmental stewardship. Work Details The selected vendor will be responsible for providing outdoor water recreation rentals, which may include equipment such as kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and other related items. The vendor must ensure that all equipment is safe, well-maintained, and compliant with applicable regulations. Additionally, the vendor will be required to manage rental operations, including staffing, customer service, and safety protocols. Period of Performance The initial contract period will begin approximately April 1st, 2026, for five years. Contracts may be renewed for up to two additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and the availability of funds. They are encouraged to participate in a non-mandatory pre-bid conference scheduled for January 15, 2026. Insurance requirements include liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence and other specified coverages. Vendors must also comply with MBE/WBE participation requirements as outlined in the solicitation.
