This contract will help DSH address staffing shortages while they continue to recruit civil service employees. Work Details The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, insurance, and personnel to deliver Temporary/Relief Speech Pathologist services on an as-needed basis. Services include assisting medical staff in clinical evaluations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The estimated staffing requirement is one Speech Pathologist for 176 hours per month over a period of 36 months. The contractor must also adhere to security provisions when working on state hospital grounds. Period of Performance The anticipated term of the agreement is from June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2029. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various State Hospital locations in California as required. Bidder Requirements Bidders must submit proof of their legal right to do business in California and be in good standing with the California Secretary of State. They must provide three letters of reference from past clients within the last three years, including at least one from a governmental entity. Bidders are required to submit resumes for potential Speech Pathologists and proof of their licenses issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs. Additionally, bidders must comply with insurance requirements and agree to sign a Standard Agreement if awarded.
