Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary for snow and ice removal. The scope of services includes: 1) Performing snow and ice removal on all roadways and parking areas, including the CGC BISCAYNE BAY pier; 2) Providing treatment services applicable to all storms or events resulting in snow, ice, sleet, freezing rain, or any combination thereof; 3) Conducting plowing, shoveling, salting, sanding, or chemical application as required; 4) Maintaining service records for services provided and chemicals applied; 5) Repairing or replacing any damages caused by contractor operations at their expense; 6) Staging operations in a manner that minimizes disruption to pedestrian and vehicle traffic; 7) Communicating regularly with the Coast Guard’s Representative regarding conditions and schedules. Period of Performance The period of performance will begin no later than 10 days after the contract is awarded.
