Background

The Tennessee National Guard is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract aimed at enhancing base infrastructure and various facilities. The contract will focus on construction tasks that include upgrades, repairs, and new construction, aligning with the agency's mission to maintain and improve military readiness. Work Details: The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision for the following tasks: 1. Installation of a new iron picket perimeter security fence with masonry posts. 2. Removal and repair of parts of the existing chain link fence. 3. Filling holes with compacted soil in demolished sections of the existing fence. 4. Demolition of existing gate operator, concrete island, access control systems, etc. 5. Saw cutting pavement and patching as required. 6. Installation and/or modification of conduit for power and communications wiring. The contractor must ensure that all installations meet the plans and specifications provided.
