The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Bliss is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for Software Training System Services (Synthetic Small Arms Simulation System). The intention is to procure these services on a competitive basis. This is a non-personnel service contract for software training system services. The mission involves training Soldiers in small arms combat skills, including operations and tactics within a multinational environment. This necessitates considerable efforts to achieve and sustain the highest levels of proficiency and relevance in Security Force Operations and combat marksmanship. The Contractor shall deliver a Training as a Service (TaaS) Synthetic Small Arms Simulation System, featuring grid pattern sports vision, cognitive drills, and human performance exercises. This system will utilize synthetic or live-fire converted weapons powered by a compressed air charging station to support Soldier training in Combat and Advanced Marksmanship at McGregor Range, Alamogordo, New Mexico. The training will encompass threat/non-threat recognition, eye tracking, and human performance simulation. The simulation system will incorporate advancements in cognitive neuroscience, sports reaction training, learning theory, and motivation.
