This is a combine synopsis-solicitation for the purpose of awarding Multiple Award IDIQ Contracts. The scope is to secure reforestation services in support of timber stand improvement related to forest health on Forest Service land. The major activity anticipated is tree planting, however other related activities such as conifer release and grubbing, vexar installation (or removal), or pest control (not related to herbicide use) may be ordered. Tasks may be located on the following forests in northern California: Klamath, Lassen, Mendocino, Modoc, Shasta Trinity, and Six Rivers National Forests. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, supplies, transportation, labor, and supervision necessary to complete the project, except for that which the contract or task order clearly states will be furnished by the Government. The Contractor shall, develop a plan of operations to organize, accomplish, and direct all operations for the necessary work when provided the resource objectives for the project. Background The Northern California Reforestation IDIQ contract is issued by the Forest Service with the goal of securing reforestation services to support timber stand improvement and enhance forest health on Forest Service land. The Contractor must develop a plan of operations to effectively organize and direct all operations based on the resource objectives provided for each project. Tasks will be performed in various forests located in northern California including Klamath, Lassen, Mendocino, Modoc, Shasta Trinity, and Six Rivers National Forests. Accessibility may vary by task and will be detailed in each task order. The Contractor must maintain a written Safety Plan throughout the duration of the contract to address inherent hazards associated with reforestation activities. Period of Performance The total duration of this contract shall not exceed five (5) years and six (6) months. Place of Performance Tasks may be located on Forest Service lands within northern California.
