THE WORK CONSISTS OF

Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and permits to perform the chemical vegetation control services at the Mansfield Hollow Lake Project. The Mansfield Hollow Lake Project includes 4 work areas for a total of approximately 55 acres. The areas require maintenance spraying/spot treatments and/or cut stump treatment of vegetation on rock slopes and dam structures, and shoreline. Contractor shall remove, chip and deposit onsite in designated area all cut woody vegetation debris. Chemical Utilization Spray Reports shall be submitted upon completion of chemical herbicide application. The Contractor's work and responsibility shall include, but not be limited to, all job planning, programming, scheduling, administration, inspection, personnel, equipment, vehicles, fuel, materials, supplies, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform the services required in the Performance Work Statement. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $9.5 Million. ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.

The mission of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers includes managing and maintaining water resources and flood risk management projects. The goal of this contract is to provide effective vegetation control services to maintain the integrity of the lake's infrastructure and surrounding areas. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and permits necessary to perform mechanical and chemical vegetation control services across four designated work areas totaling approximately 55 acres. Tasks include: - Maintenance spraying/spot treatments and/or cut stump treatment of vegetation on rock slopes, dam structures, and shorelines; - Removal, chipping, and onsite deposition of all cut woody vegetation debris; - Submission of Chemical Utilization Spray Reports upon completion of herbicide applications; - Job planning, programming, scheduling, administration, inspection, personnel management, equipment provision, fuel supply, material acquisition, supervision, and quality control as required by the Performance Work Statement. Specific safety requirements include preparation of an Accident Prevention Plan (APP), Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA), First Aid/CPR certifications for personnel on site, and compliance with EM 385-1-1 safety standards. The contractor must achieve a 90% kill rate within 30 days post-treatment; if not met, additional spraying will be required in affected areas. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract will extend from the date of contract award through October 1, 2026. Treatment activities are scheduled to occur between June 1 and July 31, 2026.
