The goal of this contract is to address electrical deficiencies identified in the facility, ensuring compliance with safety standards and enhancing operational efficiency. Work Details: The contractor will perform various electrical tasks including: 1. Replacement, modification, or upgrade of existing electrical power distribution equipment as per the Wiley-Wilson arc-flash report. 2. Replacement of MV 'Old Switchgear' and unit substation circuit breakers in Buildings 100, 101, and 103. 3. Conducting facility-wide ground resistance testing in Building 100 according to VHA directive 1028-8.j(6)(e). 4. Upgrading LS & Critical automatic transfer switches power meter and communication modules across Buildings 100, 101, and 103 (total of seven switches). 5. Providing power distribution equipment for delayed equipment automatic transfer switches in Building 100, including MV interrupter switches, MV dry-type transformers, and distribution switchboards. 6. Replacing the MV ring loop feeder from MV Old Switchgear to unit substation USNW in Building 100. 7. Replacing emergency generator control panel electronics within the generator master control panel and providing redundant PLC CPU within OHSU control panel along with necessary programming in Building 100. 8. Supplying spare circuit breakers for MV and unit substation switchgear across Buildings 100, 101, and 103. 9. Replacing main electrical distribution equipment in Building 16. Period of Performance: The intended period of performance for this contract is approximately 545 calendar days following receipt of notice to proceed. Place of Performance: The construction projects will be performed at the Portland VA Medical Center located on the Portland Campus in Portland, Oregon.
