This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Work Details The contractor is required to deliver one (1) Cotton Planter as per the following specifications: - 4-row cotton planter with 38-inch row spacing. - Vacuum seed meter system. - Vacuum seed delivery system. - Coupling equipment and lift kit to attach the planter to an existing 4-row strip tillage implement. - Chain drive with mechanical transmission. - Accessories including chain guard, drive wheel covers, hydraulic lines/hookups for powering the vacuum, granular chemical system, and cotton seed discs. - Must be connectable to a tractor utilizing a 3-point hitch with category 3 pins. - The planter must be delivered fully assembled and ready-to-use. Period of Performance Delivery of all items is required within 60 days after receipt of order (ARO).
