The U.S. Army, through the Army Contracting Command Red River Army Depot (ACC-RRAD), is focused on modernizing its Organic Industrial Base (OIB) to enhance capabilities in acquisition, sustainment, logistics, and overall modernization efforts. This initiative emphasizes the need for advanced manufacturing technologies, referred to as Convergent Manufacturing, which include Agile facilities, digital enterprises, automation, and cybersecurity. The goal of this solicitation is to procure innovative commercial items and technologies that can accelerate the OIB's ability to deliver advanced solutions to the Warfighter while optimizing the Defense Manufacturing Base.

Work Details

The contract seeks innovative solutions for the design, manufacture, and installation of Power Pack Interface & Test Sets. Key tasks include: 1. Start and operate power packs using a ground hop kit; 2. Continuously monitor power pack operations within set parameters; 3. Provide feedback through display and record data; 4. Read and display signals from transducers, switches, and data buses; 5. Automate run and test cycles; 6. Create automated run reports; 7. Ensure high-resolution analog IO channels; 8. Use connectors that meet automotive or military standards; 9. Store records in an open file standard for interoperability; 10. Allow depot personnel to program tests and run concurrent tests; 11. Provide multiple graphical dashboards for control; 12. Integrate emergency stop functionality; 13. Include large monitors for easy monitoring of instruments; 14. Mount a weather station for environmental measurements; 15. Provide an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) for power reliability; 16. Communicate status using OPC UA protocol.
