Background

The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System is seeking to reconfigure and renovate the old laundry facility at the Waco Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC). The goal of this project is to convert the facility into offices and shops for engineering tradesmen, administrative, and professional staff. This initiative aligns with the agency's mission to provide high-quality care and services to veterans.

Work Details

The General Contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construct the Consolidate Engineering Building 17 in accordance with all Contract Documents. The scope of work includes reconfigurations of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, IT, and other systems as part of the renovation process. All work must comply with the Statement of Work (SOW), which will be posted with the solicitation.

Place of Performance

The construction projects will be performed at the Doris Miller Veterans Medical Center located at 4800 Veterans Memorial Drive, Waco, Texas 76711.
