Background

The South Texas Veterans Health Care System is seeking to improve air quality at the Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital located at 7400 Merton Minter Boulevard, San Antonio, TX 78229. This project involves the replacement and repair of HVAC dampers. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, supervision, and construction services necessary for the project. Compliance with VA specifications and all relevant regulations is mandatory.

Work Details

The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to replace and repair HVAC dampers in accordance with all Contract Documents. The work includes installation, repair, and replacement of dampers and associated parts as detailed in the drawings. All construction work must adhere to VA specifications for material and workmanship, NEC, NFPA standards, as well as city, county, state, and federal regulations including OSHA standards. The contractor must plan for outages during weekends or after hours to minimize impact on clinical care and coordinate any work affecting clinical spaces with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) after hours.
