Background The Marine Corps Information Maneuver School (MCIMS), part of the Marine Corps Training Command (TRNGCMD), is seeking contract support to provide instruction in various subjects necessary for granting Marines the Civil Affairs Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) and Influence MOS. This training will prepare Marines in Civil Affairs Operations (CAO), Civil-Military Operations (CMO), and information operations planning, supporting the Fleet Marine Force (FMF) and unit staffs at all levels. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: - Conducting evaluations of students' abilities through scripted scenarios with role players, using non-subjective performance evaluation checklists approved by MCIMS. - Developing and managing curriculum and execution of the Program of Instruction (POI), including course descriptive data, courseware, and curriculum materials. The contractor must provide qualified curriculum developers who have completed the Curriculum Developers Course MCO 1553.2D. - Creating course materials such as study guides, visual aids, simulations, proficiency charts, training aids, handouts, and instructional outlines. - Recommending instructional methods to effectively convey course material. - Constructing examination questions relevant to instructional responsibilities. - Revising lesson plans to incorporate updated materials and accommodate diverse student populations while minimizing disruptions to established schedules. - Creating training schedules for courses like the CMO Planner Course, which includes classroom instruction covering Civil-Military Relations, Enabling Operations, and Information Management. The contractor will also oversee student evaluations through written exams and practical applications. - Providing IT support for mobile internet connectivity during field exercises for specific courses. - Serving as Exercise Control during field exercises to ensure effective execution of scenarios and evaluations. Period of Performance The contract will include one base year with four follow-on option years. Place of Performance Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia.
