Summary

17th SOS Side-by-Side All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) The 17 Special Operations Squadron (17 SOS) is seeking to procure ten (10) Side-by-Side style All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs). These vehicles are required to provide personnel transportation to and from the flightline to support Formal Training Unit daily flight operations in all seasons and weather conditions. - Eligibility: [Unrestricted - Full and Open Competition]. Can-Am Defender Max Limited or Polaris Ranger Crew XP Northstar Edition Premium are preferred, however, "brand name or equal" equivalents meeting all salient characteristics will be considered. - Delivery / Location: 137th SOW Contracting Office, 5624 Air Guard Drive, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73179. Delivery will be staggered: two (2) ATVs within 30 days, three (3) within 60 days, and the final five (5) within 120 days of the contract award date. - Requirements: ATVs must seat 4-6 people with seatbelts, 4-wheel drive, and feature an enclosed ROPS-approved cab including a hard roof, doors, glass windshield with wipers, and an HVAC system. Vehicles must possess 80+ horsepower, power steering, and a 2,500lb or greater towing capacity. Background The 17 Special Operations Squadron (17 SOS) operates as the OA-1K Formal Training Unit and requires transportation to and from the flightline for daily flight operations. The squadron conducts an average of 25 flights a day, with an expected increase of 20% within the calendar year to provide combat-ready forces to AFSOC and the 137th SOW. This contract aims to procure ten (10) Side-by-Side style All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) to support these operations in all seasons and weather conditions. Work Details The contractor shall provide ten (10) Side-by-Side All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs). The preferred models are Can-Am Defender Max Limited or Polaris Ranger Crew XP Northstar Edition Premium, but 'brand name or equal' equivalents that meet all salient characteristics will be considered. The specific requirements include: - Seating capacity: 4-6 people with seatbelts - Drive: 4-wheel drive with selectable drive modes and auto-locking front differential - Power: Minimum of 80 horsepower with greater than 62 lb-ft torque - Towing capacity: 2,500 lbs or greater - Features: Enclosed ROPS-approved cab with hard roof, doors, glass windshield with wipers, HVAC system, full plastic or metal skid plate, electric or manual windows, rear glass window, front lighting and tail lights. - Colors may include combinations of black, gray, blue, or tan. Delivery schedule is staggered as follows: - 2 ATVs within 30 days of contract award - 3 ATVs within 60 days of contract award - Final 5 ATVs within 120 days of contract award.
