Alarm System Dialer and Panel Upgrade Installation Services for 3 Northern California CUIAB Facilities

Background

The Employment Development Department (EDD) of California is issuing Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 128797 for Alarm System Dialer and Panel Upgrade Installation Services at three Northern California CUIAB facilities. The goal of this contract is to upgrade outdated alarm systems to modern standards, ensuring safety and compliance with current regulations.

Work Details

The Contractor will provide, install, and program new Radionix (or similar) alarm system dialers and cellular communicators at the following locations: San Jose, Fresno, and Salinas. Specific tasks include: 1. Installation of Radionix B8512G intrusion control panels with 12 Volt 7AH batteries. 2. Installation of Radionix B444-V2 plug-in cellular communicators/dialers. 3. Installation of Radionix B208 eight zone expanders. 4. Establishing cellular service for the installed communicators. 5. Conducting inspections, consultations, and completing installation work orders as directed by the CUIAB representative. 6. Reporting any safety hazards or faulty equipment encountered during work.

Period of Performance

The contract period is from September 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at three locations in Northern California: 1. San Jose - 2665 North 1st Street, Suite 100, San Jose, CA 95134 2. Fresno - 590 West Alluvial Ave., Suite 110, Fresno, CA 93711 3. Salinas - 1615 Bunker Hill Way, Ste. 220, Salinas, CA 93906.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a valid C-7 or C-10 State Contractor’s License and comply with all applicable local ordinances and state and federal laws regarding labor on public buildings. The Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) Participation Requirement is waived for this IFB; however, the DVBE Incentive is available to potential bidders.
