Work Details

The selected entity will manage and operate the CCS Office, providing child care placement and support services. Responsibilities include overseeing management and staffing of the CCS system, coordinating with co-located agencies, administering CCS programs, ensuring compliance with fiscal requirements, and developing partnerships with local educational institutions and community organizations. The services solicited include:

Child Care Client Services

- Child Care Provider Services (including Texas Rising Star quality program)

Child Care Quality Improvement Activities

The subrecipient is expected to design a seamless service delivery system that maximizes customer satisfaction.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on October 1, 2026, with a four-week transitional period from September 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026. The maximum term of the contract is four years, subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed in the North Texas Workforce Development Area, which includes eleven counties: Archer, Baylor, Clay, Cottle, Foard, Hardeman, Jack, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger, and Young.

Bidder Requirements

Eligible proposers include individuals or entities (for-profit or non-profit), partnerships/consortiums/joint ventures. Proposers must demonstrate technical competence and have qualified staff. Ineligible proposers include individuals or entities currently debarred or suspended from federal programs. Selected proposers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to workforce programs.
