North Hall Community Center Roof Replacement

Background

Hall County, Georgia, a municipal entity located at 2875 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30504, is seeking qualified Contractors for the complete roof replacement at the North Hall Community Center due to active leaks in its roof. The goal of this contract is to ensure the integrity and functionality of the facility's roofing system.

Work Details

The awarded Contractor shall perform a turnkey project that includes: removing and disposing of all existing roofing and insulation materials (including metal coping and flashing), furnishing and installing new insulation (R-30 or equal) and 60 mill white TPO roofing. Specific tasks include: - Preparing the deck for new insulation board - Installing ½” Dens deck for added strength - Installing crickets to prevent standing water - Fastening TPO perimeter sheets per code - Mechanically attaching TPO to the deck - Fully adhering vertical TPO with bonding adhesive - Heat welding seams - Terminating TPO with drip edge - Installing pipe boot flashings at all pipes. The Contractor must also provide a project manager on-site during the project duration and offer a 5-year workmanship warranty along with a 20-year manufacturer warranty at no additional cost.

Period of Performance

The contract term will be for 60 days after the issuance of a Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at North Hall Community Center located at 4175 Nopone Rd, Gainesville, GA 30506.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be licensed, insured, and bonded in the State of Georgia. They must not have been debarred by any authority or involved in legal suits for negligence or misconduct. Bidders are required to submit four hard copies of their technical qualifications along with a USB drive containing their responses. A Certificate of Insurance listing Hall County as an additional insured is mandatory.
