Corley Diversion Project

Background

The Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6 is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB 26-009/KKJ) for the Corley Diversion Project, which is federally funded by the U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Department through the Texas General Land Office (GLO). The project aims to comply with various regulations governing the CDBG Regional Mitigation Program and ensure equitable employment practices.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on June 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST at the main office located at 6550 Walden Road, Beaumont, Texas.

Period of Performance

The contract period is expected to commence upon signing and will require a performance bond to be furnished within ten (10) days after contract signing.

The work will be performed in Beaumont, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a bid security of 5% of the total contract cost and submit an original and three copies of their bid to the District Administration Office. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with 'Corley Diversion Project' and 'IFB 26-009/KKJ'. The District does not accept electronic bids and late bids will be rejected as non-responsive. All contractors/subcontractors must have active registration in SAM.gov and cannot be debarred or suspended from federal assistance programs.
