Background

Work Details

The scope of work includes furnishing all products and performing all labor necessary to dredge and degrade the LAS holding pond for complete sludge removal. This includes: 1. Disposal of removed sludge; 2. Dewatering of sludge; 3. Grit removal; 4. Sludge degradation of solids; 5. Restoration of pond volume using appropriate methods as per specifications and construction drawings. The project must be completed according to the provided plans and specifications within a timeframe of 90 consecutive calendar days.

Period of Performance

The contract work is to be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days from the start date.

The work will be performed at the LAS holding pond located in Lowndes County, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide proof of a valid license as a 'Utility Contractor' issued by the State of Georgia and employ a 'Utility Manager' certification holder for oversight. Bids must include a bid bond or certified cashier’s check amounting to no less than 10% of the base bid, with performance and payment bonds required at 100% of the contract price upon award. All contractors and subcontractors must register with E-Verify to comply with work eligibility verification requirements.
