Work Details

The contract includes pilot training on the full motion Type-D simulator specifically designed for the Citation Latitude Aircraft. The training will encompass the use of Type-D qualified full flight simulators, classroom simulation equipment, flight training devices, and post-flight debriefing systems. The Type-D simulator replicates the exact flight characteristics of the FDLE Cessna Citation Latitude and provides a comprehensive range of flight conditions and advanced capabilities to enhance instruction for pilot training in emergency situations. The full motion simulator will be utilized instead of the actual aircraft.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2031.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at locations designated by FlightSafety International, Inc., which is based in Columbus, OH.

The intended single source for this procurement is FlightSafety International, Inc., which is the only company authorized to provide factory-supported training for Cessna (Textron Aviation) simulation training including the Cessna Citation Latitude full motion Type-D simulation training.
