Scope of Work

The City of Huntington Beach Public Works Department is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to supply prepared asphalt materials for use in the City's street programs and ongoing projects. The work involves: - Providing as-needed prepared asphalt material to City Public Works staff. - Supplying various types of Hot Mixed Asphalt (HMA), including: - Sheet - 3/8 inch Fine - inch Fine - inch Fine - Supplying Cold Mix Asphalt. - Supplying Emulsion, specifically SS-1H type. - Allowing City staff to pick up prepared asphalt material at the vendor's location using a City vehicle.

Contract Requirements

- Vendors must be located within fifteen (15) miles of the City of Huntington Beach, CA, due to the short shelf life of hot mixed asphalt. - Vendors must be able to provide asphalt in quantities starting at 1-ton. - Prepared asphalt material must be available for pick-up by City staff Monday through Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
