Quieter Home Program Phase 14 Group 10

Scope of Work

The Quieter Home Program Phase 14 Group 10 project involves sound attenuation improvements for residences located around San Diego International Airport. Specifically, the work will be performed on 32 dwelling units across 16 historic residential properties. The improvements may include, but are not limited to: - Replacement of windows and exterior doors - Finely detailed, field-executed finish carpentry - Installation or upgrade of air conditioning, ventilation, and related electrical systems to support these enhancements - Demolition and modification of existing construction to accommodate new windows and doors - Temporary weatherproof closures where required during construction

Contract Requirements

- The magnitude of this work is estimated at $2,576,940.11. - Bidders must possess a valid California State Contractors License, classification B. - Bidders must also be certified by the Environmental Protection Agency as a Renovation Firm as defined by 40 CFR 745, Subpart E 745.89 - Firm Certification at the time of award. - If the contract work includes removal and disposal of asbestos-containing building materials, the bidder must be certified pursuant to Section 7058.6 of the California State Business and Professions Code. If a certified subcontractor is used for asbestos-related work, their license and certification number must be submitted with the Bid Submission Documents.
