Lease of Cardiac Monitors with AED

Background

The County of Henrico, located in the Richmond Metropolitan Area, is seeking to lease cardiac monitors with AED capabilities for its Division of Fire. The Division is responsible for providing advanced life support services and operates numerous ambulances and fire apparatus. This RFP aims to secure a qualified firm to provide these essential medical devices, which must integrate with existing EMS reporting software.

Work Details

The successful offeror will provide a lease for 80 cardiac monitor/defibrillator units, including three loaner units at no cost. The units must be FDA approved and ready for use upon delivery. Each unit should include various accessories such as EKG leads, defibrillator pads, blood pressure cuffs, capnography sensors, pulse oximetry sensors, and more. The offeror must also ensure that the monitors are compatible with AHA standards for Advanced Cardiac Life Support and provide training on their operation at no additional cost. The lease period is set for 60 months, with an option to purchase the equipment at the end of the term for $1 or terminate the lease without penalty.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and will last for a period of 60 months.

The services will be performed in Henrico County, Virginia.

Bidder Requirements

Offerors must be regularly engaged in the sale and service of cardiac monitors with AED capabilities. They must provide documentation of FDA approval for the devices offered and ensure that they can meet all specified requirements including training and maintenance support throughout the lease term.
