Background The LD7 Slab Concrete Leveling Repair project is issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District. The mission of this contract is to stabilize various horizontal concrete surfaces at Lock and Dam No. 7 in La Crescent, Minnesota, using poly jacking methods to ensure safety and functionality of the infrastructure. Work Details The contractor will perform slab stabilization at multiple locations along the horizontal concrete surfaces at Lock and Dam No. 7. The work includes: 1. Raising vertically misaligned horizontal concrete surfaces to within +/- 1/8 inch from adjacent surfaces using poly jacking methods. 2. Removing and replacing missing or damaged joint sealant material within adjacent construction and/or monolith joints of affected horizontal concrete surfaces. 3. The specific locations for leveling include: - Leveling Slab A: Approximate size 6' x 28' - Leveling Slab B: Approximate size 5' x 6' - Leveling Slab C: Approximate size 6' x 7' - Leveling Slab D: Approximate size 4' x 7' - Leveling Slab E: Approximate size 10' x 25'. 4. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, materials, labor, and services required to complete the work. Period of Performance Pre-work activities must commence within 30 days after award, with all on-site work to be completed by September 30, 2027. Place of Performance Lock and Dam No. 7, located at 33018 Highway 61, La Crescent, MN 55947-9502. Bidder Requirements Bidders must have personnel with a minimum of three years of experience in polyurethane jacking. Documentation of this experience must be provided prior to personnel being allowed on site. Additionally, bidders are required to attend a pre-work meeting with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) after contract award.
