Summary: Background The Ramp Tank Replacement project is being conducted at the Watervliet Arsenal, which is part of the U.S. Army's mission to maintain and enhance military readiness. The goal of this contract is to safely remove an underground storage tank (UST #2), construct a containment pad, and install a structural building around the new pad in compliance with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) regulations. Work Details The contractor is required to perform the following tasks: 1. Remove Underground Storage Tank (UST #2). 2. Build up a containment pad. 3. Install a structural building around the new containment pad to ensure that no weather can impact the existing dumpster. The work location is specified as between Building 141 and 152 at Watervliet Arsenal. The contractor must submit various documents for approval, including a safety plan specific to the work activity, a project schedule detailing phases of work, and Safety Data Sheets for any hazardous materials used. Additionally, all work must comply with applicable safety standards and environmental regulations. Period of Performance The contractor must commence work within 7 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed and complete all work within 90 calendar days after notice to proceed, including final cleanup.
