Summary: Background The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Office of Facilities Management and Construction (OFMC), Western Regional Office, is issuing this solicitation for the HVAC replacement at the Colorado River Detention Facility located in Parker, Arizona. The facility operates continuously under BIA Law Enforcement Services and is subject to strict security and operational protocols. The existing HVAC units have exceeded their designed service lives and are failing, creating a health and safety emergency due to extreme summer temperatures that can exceed 115 degrees Fahrenheit. This project aims to restore full heating and cooling capacity to ensure compliance with federal detention standards. Work Details The scope of work includes the removal of failed HVAC units and installation of new commercial-grade replacement units. Tasks involve: - Fabrication of transitions - Installation of a new stand - Roof return air ducting - Crane services for equipment placement - Removal and proper disposal of the existing fresh air unit - Provision of all necessary materials, labor, and equipment to complete the project in accordance with facility requirements.
