Multiple Award Contract for demolition services for Indian Affairs and other Department of the Interior program offices.

Summary (Newest Update)

Background The Demo-MAC is a Multiple Award Contract for demolition services issued by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) under the Department of the Interior. The contract aims to provide ongoing demolition services for facilities and structures across the United States and Indian Country, supporting the mission of Indian Affairs. Work Details The work under this contract includes a wide range of demolition activities such as: - Demolition of wood, metal, and masonry structures including multi-story and relocatable structures. - Potholing for utilities. - Removal of existing utility poles and accessories. - Demolition of bollards and manholes. - Removal of outside communication lines. - Installation of flowable fill in abandoned pipes. - Demolition of asphalt and concrete pavements. - Removal of fencing. - Site work including filling, compacting, grading, placing topsoil, and seeding (including hydro mulch and grass). - Asbestos and lead-based paint removal. - Mold remediation related to demolition. - Engineering related to demolition. - Various surveys and sample testing. The selected contractors will be responsible for all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and transportation necessary to perform the services described in the drawings and specifications for each project. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from September 23, 2026 to September 22, 2031. Place of Performance Work may be performed across the Continental United States and Indian Country. Bidder Requirements This procurement is 100% set-aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs). Bidders must meet specific requirements including obtaining necessary contractor or trade licenses. Bid/payment/performance bonds are required. Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail) This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent base under the prior National Multiple Award Demolition Contract, with multiple awardees carrying forward similar demolition scope. Confirmed incumbents include EQM Services ($35,812,633; 09/20/21–09/19/26), Cherokee CRC ($14,199,364; 09/17/21–09/19/26), Yukon Management ($7,575,009; 09/20/21–09/19/25), and others (e.g., Aleut Demolition Services, Ahtna Global, Terra Solutions & Services), all under national-level multiple award demolition vehicles. The current Demo-MAC’s broad demolition activities (including structure demolition and related site work such as asbestos/lead removal and utility-related demolition) are consistent with a continuation of the same type of recurring demolition services.
