Background

The New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) is issuing a solicitation for bids to procure Load and Pack Refuse Collection Rear Dumping Trucks. This contract will be a 5-Year Requirements Contract aimed at enhancing the refuse collection capabilities of the city.

Work Details

The contractor will provide Load and Pack Refuse Collection Rear Dumping Trucks as specified in the solicitation documents. The vehicles must meet or exceed all applicable federal, state, and local emission standards. The contractor must ensure that all vehicles supplied conform to current regulations and include all known technologies required for compliance. Additionally, descriptive literature and complete product specifications must accompany each bid. The contractor is responsible for delivering the trucks freight on board (FOB) destination, with delivery charges included in the bid price.

Period of Performance

The performance period for this contract is from July 8, 2026, to July 7, 2031. The city reserves the right to adjust these dates prior to contract registration.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed within New York City, with specific delivery locations determined by the agency placing orders.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have been actively engaged in the sale or manufacture of vehicles and/or equipment for a minimum of five years. All bids must comply with New York City Purchase Contract requirements, including submission through the Procurement and Sourcing Solutions Portal (PASSPort). Vendors are also required to provide a check for $25,000 within 30 days of receipt of the purchase order to cover inspection expenses.
